Being concerned is often the appropriate response to many situations in life. When you drive on the road,
it is healthy and appropriate to desire to exercise caution and be on the look out for other drivers and
vehicles. However, then there is the level of responding to driving on the freeway or navigating a bridge
which brings on waves of mental panic, physical shaking, and sometimes even cold sweats. When that is the
case, you indeed are experiencing an anxiety.
Hypnosis can help. Quite often a client with anxiety comes to me after having first tried some medications
prescribed to them from their physician. Or they went to a psychotherapist or psychiatrist. They might
have gotten some initial relief, but then the anxiety persisted.
"April, I want to get my life back," is the most common desire of clients with anxiety who come to me
for hypnotism session to relieve it.
Hypnosis is so helpful with significantly reducing and in many cases even eliminating the anxiety because the
anxiety and how it was formed is all in the emotional mind, your unconscious mind. That is the very area
which hypnotism is most powerful to empower you to access and reprogram. So we can get to the root of the
issue, and if you so choose, pull out the mental weed and replace the belief with healthier and more appropriate to
the situation beliefs.
Clients with anxiety typically need 4-12 sessions of hypnosis for relief and the reprogramming hypnotherapy for
what they desire. When your anxiety is multi-layered being expressed in a number of situations and life
events, more sessions are needed. In between sessions, you listen to hypnosis recordings and when you're
ready, at the pace which is just right for you, step into the life situational events which formerly caused you
mental and emotional anguish as together we dial down anxiety.
